The maintenance period was extended. As compensation, we have distributed Dimensional Crystal x50.

Maintenance has now been completed. The Version 2.0.0 update is now available.

Update Content

■ KAIJU NO. 8 THE GAME 1st Anniversary

■ New Feature: Amplification

You are now able to amplify weapons by using Refinement Crystals or Crystal Shards, a new material.

Amplification Overview:

・Amplify weapons to enhance their base stats.

・Weapons of all rarities can be amplified up to 100 stages.

・As amplification materials, 10 Crystal Shards raise the amplification stage by 1, while 1 Refinement Crystal raises it by 5.

・Obtain Crystal Shards from Training and Refinement Crystals by disassembling certain ★5 weapons.

*Some weapon amplification stages may not yield base stat increases.

In addition, along with the above, Crystal Shards have been added as rewards in the following areas:

*Added rewards will be applied starting 2026-07-31T19:00:00Z.

・Crystal Shards have been added to the selection for exchange in the "Proof of Valor" and "Emblem of Defense" Shops.

・The Training "Unlock Potential Material" has been renamed to "Special Enhancement Material," and Crystal Shards have been added to the materials dropped in the Training.

■ New Feature: Unit Enhancement Guide

You can now set a selected character as the target of the Unit Enhancement Guide to mark recommended enhancements on the Character screen and recommended weapons on the Weapon Selection screen.

Be sure to try out this feature if you feel unsure about character enhancement.

■ New Material: Apatite Petal

You can now obtain Apatite Petals when acquiring your 8th or subsequent copy of the same ★5 character.

Collect Apatite Petals to exchange them for select ★5 characters in the Shop.

*You will receive Apatite Petals once your total acquisition count for a character reaches 8 or more, regardless of the acquisition method (including Gacha, Shop exchanges, mail distribution, or the first-time exchange from THE GAME Gacha).

*Characters obtained directly as compensation are not eligible.

■ New Ultra-Fast Mode

In addition to the existing fast mode for battles, a new ultra-fast mode has been added.

Enjoy even faster-paced battles.

■ Shop Tab Layout Update

Tabs have been rearranged for greater convenience.

■ Stamina Limit Increased

The Stamina limit has been increased to 240.

■ New Gacha

■ New Packs

Starting 2026-08-07T03:00:00Z, limited-time packs that unlock under specific conditions for individual players will be added.

■ Updates to Item Exchanges

Updates will be made to the following Shops as of 2026-07-31T19:00:00Z.

・Unipart Resources, Unimaterials, and Stamina Jellies will be added for exchange in the "Encounter Stone" Shop.

・The Material Supply Box available in the "Emblem of Defense" Shop will be changed to "Material Supply Box II [★4 Attribute Material]".

A box that allows you to select 1 Attribute Material of your choice from the selection for exchange.

・Resolved Issues

The following issues have been resolved:

・Under certain conditions, the text above the bar on the quest skip screen may appear dark.

・Under certain conditions during battle, unintended voice lines may play when buffs are applied to all allies.

*This is only an audio issue. It does not impact the battle or the actual effects.

・When forming a squad with certain combinations of battle buddies, voice lines may not play during Follow-Up Skills or Core Exposures.

・Under certain conditions in Total War, identical weapons with different levels may display the same level.

・Under certain conditions, unintended behavior may occur with Extra Attacks.

• After this maintenance, a download of approximately 3.3 GB for the mobile version, or 6.0 GB for the PC version will be required. A Wi-Fi connection is recommended for download.
  *This data update will perform data optimization, including data from previous updates. As some data will be overwritten, the app's total size is estimated to be approximately 8.4 GB for the mobile version and 17.4 GB for the PC version.
